Everything you need to know about the ‘All Indonesia arrival card’
There is a new arrival process at Bali airport as from September 2025! Traveling to Bali just got a little easier! As of September 2025, all international visitors arriving in Bali (and anywhere else in Indonesia) are now required to complete a new ‘All Indonesia declaration form’ or ‘All Indonesia arrival card’ before entering the country. This free online form replaces several old arrival documents (combining immigration, customs, and health information) and helps streamline the entry process for tourists.
Below, I’ll break down exactly what this new rule means, how to apply for the card, and what to remember before you board your flight to the Island of the Gods.

What is the ‘All Indonesia Declaration Form’ or All Indonesia Arrival Card’
The All Indonesia declaration form or arrival card is a new digital entry form introduced by the Indonesian government to simplify the arrival process for foreign visitors.
Previously, travelers had to fill out multiple paper forms upon arrival — including customs declarations and health-related documents. Now, this single online declaration covers all those requirements in one quick step.
Good to know: This new document is completely free, and it applies to all travelers entering Indonesia, not just those visiting Bali.
How to apply for the All Indonesia Declaration Form or arrival card
Applying is easy and only takes a few minutes. Here’s the simple step-by-step process:
1. Apply Online
Visit the official Indonesian government website within 3 days before your flight to Indonesia. You’ll need to fill in your personal details, flight information, and travel declarations.
2. Receive Your QR Code
Once you’ve submitted the form, you’ll receive a QR code by email. This code confirms that your declaration has been successfully completed.
3. Show the QR Code on Arrival
When you arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, simply show your QR code to airport officers during the arrival process. It replaces the need for multiple paper forms — making the whole experience much faster and smoother.
Important: The declaration card does NOT replace your visa or tourist tax
While the new All Indonesia Declaration Form is required for all travelers, it’s important to remember that this form does not replace:
Your Visa on Arrival (VOA) or eVisa. Apply for it here
The Bali Tourist Tax, which must still be paid separately online before your trip
Make sure you complete these additional requirements to avoid any issues at the airport.
